(recorder and \u00a0drum) At the age of 11 he started with his trumpet studies by his father, who musically took care of him until the age of 19. During his Military Service\u00a0 at the Military Music Upper Austria he started his studies at the Bruckner conservatory in Linz with Professor Franz Veigl.<\/p>\n<p>His most important Orchestra-Engagements were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1974-1976\u00a0 first trumpeter at Bruckner Orchestra Linz<\/li>\n<li>1976-1982\u00a0 first trumpeter in the \u00a0ORF-Symphony Orchestra<\/li>\n<li>1982-1996\u00a0 first trumpeter in the Vienna State Opera Orchestra and the Vienna Philharmonics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Since 1996 he gave trumpet lessons at the University Mozarteum in Salzburg<\/p>\n<p>1995 he was awarded for &#8222;Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik&#8220; for the recording of the CD &#8222;Trumpet Concerts&#8220;. In chamber music he worked with the ensembles &#8222;Austrian Brass Connection&#8220;, &#8222;Pro Brass&#8220;, Art Brass Brass &#8222;,&#8220; Kontrapunkte &#8222;, German Brass&#8220; \u2026<\/p>\n<p>He has played numerous solo concerts and has given many masterclasses at home and abroad.
